Blue Feather Crafts

Blue Feather Crafts is a shared craft project between life partners Sammy and Nanna, living in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains in mid Wales.

Sammy is a wood artist creating Native American Inspired flutes from reclaimed and recycled wood. He has a great eye for spotting beautiful wood in old furniture etc and loves honouring the wood by creating one of a kind instruments from things other people have given up on, giving the wood and trees another chance to sing with the wind. He will also be bringing naturally twisted staffs and altar wands gathered in Scandinavian woodlands on Winter Solstices.

Nanna is a macrame jewellery artist from Denmark, creating unique jewellery inspired by nature in the beautiful Welsh valley we get to call home. Flowing with the changing of the seasons her jewellery is ever changing just as the leaves on the trees, complimenting the time of year we are currently in. Ever interested in storytelling and tales of magical women she also creates mythical torques and jewellery inspired by both local welsh folklore and from her Scandinavian background and stories from Norse mythology.
