Elemental Pottery

Elemental Pottery is designed and made in Somerset by Sarah, she chose the name Elemental Pottery because Earth, Air, Fire and Water are all part of the process: the clay from the earth, the air as it dries, the fire of the kiln, and the water and glazes that bring colour and finish.

I love exploring different techniques, colours and styles, so my collections are always varied. Each piece is made individually, with care and attention, and although no two pieces are ever quite the same, my work naturally falls into four areas that are close to my heart.

Sustainability is an important part of how I work. I make a conscious effort to use every last piece of clay, recycle water within the studio, and reuse packaging wherever possible or choose recyclable materials for my orders.

Most importantly, I believe in making ceramics to be used, treasured and enjoyed for years to come. Handmade doesn’t need to be perfect — it’s the little variations, marks and details that make each piece unique.

At Elemental Pottery, I hope to create more than just beautiful objects. I want my ceramics to bring a sense of comfort, connection and joy to everyday life — those simple moments that help make a house feel like home.
